About Us
Community Connections Partnership, established in 1986, is a non-profit organization serving individuals with disabilities. CCP was instrumental in helping people transition from restrictive, institutional settings to an inclusive, community-based lifestyle. The first center was opened in the Uptown area and served 15 people. Today, CCP has expanded and serves 185 individuals from throughout the seven-county Twin Cities metro area.
CCP’s philosophy has always been to provide positive, meaningful services which allow individual’s to use their skills and to be able to choose and find what they would like to do.
We focus on what individuals can do rather than what they can’t do, evaluating their strengths and building on them.
We focus on WHO they are as an individual, co-worker, community member or friend and not as a disabled person.
We focus on getting people connected to their community at whatever level they choose.
We will exhaust every avenue to find a way to assist people through challenges.
